  • Reviews, comments, and feedback

  • Character descriptions, plot outlines, and story elements

By using our Service, you grant BookSystem a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Service.

2. Platform License

All content, features, and functionality of the BookSystem platform, including but not limited to:

  • Website design, layout, and user interface
  • Software, code, and algorithms
  • Documentation and help materials
  • Logos, trademarks, and brand elements
  • AI models and training data (where applicable)

Are owned by BookSystem or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written permission.

3. AI-Generated Content Ownership

Content generated using our AI tools presents unique copyright considerations:

  • You own AI-assisted content: When you use our AI tools to create content, you retain ownership of the final work, provided you have added sufficient creative input and human authorship
  • AI training data: Our AI models may be trained on publicly available data. We do not claim ownership of training data
  • Disclosure: You may be required to disclose AI assistance in your published works, depending on platform policies and applicable laws
  • Originality: AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection in some jurisdictions. We recommend adding substantial human creative input

4. Copyright Infringement

6. License to BookSystem

By submitting User Content to our Service, you grant BookSystem a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to:

  • Use, reproduce, distribute, and display your User Content on the Service
  • Store and process your User Content to provide our services
  • Create backups and archives of your User Content
  • Use your User Content for service improvement and analytics (in anonymized form)

This license terminates when you delete your User Content or close your account, except to the extent necessary for us to comply with legal obligations or enforce our agreements.

7. Trademarks

"BookSystem" and related logos, product names, and service names are trademarks of BookSystem. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission. All other trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of their respective owners.

8. Public Domain and Fair Use

Our Service may allow you to access or reference public domain works or works used under fair use principles. You are responsible for:

  • Verifying the copyright status of any works you use
  • Ensuring your use qualifies as fair use under applicable law
  • Providing proper attribution where required
